new Wii board Modchip?

Hey guys bought a Wii(PAL) over the weekend and my Serial number starts with:

LEH 1828 XXXX X

I chucked this over to Wii-Tracker and the results were as followed:

50% chance your drive board is a GC2-DC2
50% chance your drive pins are not cut

(lol talk about russian roulette!)

I'm looking to purchase a wiiClip with a presoldered chip on it, can I still go out and buy a DC2Key/D2Pro?

Mine starts LEH1809*** and i've just ordered a d2cpro, i;ve read that someone successfully modded a LEH184**** somewhere, but i would by no means take this as gospel. I'll post in a couple of days once my chip arrives.

Fingers crossed i haven't the new d2c2, as far as i have read their is yet to be a definitive way to identify these exactly from the older d2c's. Although the following have been mentioned so have a search for more info:

Different drive spindle
additional 2 digits on board serial number
additional line of text under the gc2-d2c text on the chip

Best thing to do as said before would be to open it up. I'll let you know how i get on though. Oh i'm by no means an expert....just spent a few days trying to figure out what chip i had myself and opted to give my luck a go and see if i have been lucky.
