i have some .mpg files (some downloaded directly from K++, others as .avis, then converted with TMPGEnc), and some play fine, while others freeze and skip, or just freeze...i have tried VirtualDub Mp3, VCD Gear, and anything else i can think of....the files are almost all PAL format and (in .avi form) from 50 to 100 MB (in .mpg form from 200-300 MB)...i resampled the audio to 48000 kHz, said fullscreen (keep aspect ratio), and set the MAX number of GOP frames to 15....maybe i need to try something differently, or something new alltogether.....i still have the files on DVD+RW media, and the .avi ones i have on CD-R as .avis (the .mpg ones i have on CD-R as .mpgs)......any help is appreciated
