hey ive had my ps3 for bout a year now and ive had my tv for a while its a 42 inch 1080p phillips and the other day i was playing cod4 and noticed that it wasnt in 1080p it was playing in 720p does any body noe why or how to fix it???

Go to display then hdmi connection.. then cutom the tick the box 1080p and if black screen comes up.. your tv doesnt support it

thanks but i just went and changed the settings and forced it to use 1080p
