The question is do you think M$ convert the xbox 360 over to a blu-ray drive or will it be a add-on like the hi-def player? If M$ does the switch what happens to the people who own the system right now?

add on. they are not going to put sonys product inside their machine with the console wars that are going on.

I honestly don't ever see MS adding on Blu Ray. every system they sell would just add to Sony's profit margins.

Business wise it makes no sense for Microsoft to do this.

Probably Not BD for xbox. Hopfully no BD for Xbox.

I could see a new Elite model with the BD drive. It's just too tough to say which way they'd go. And, of course, if MS does opt to add it, they'll deny it right up 'til its launch.

see that's the problem. MS was said to be on HD DVDs side, but they were actually persuing their own agenda,because if they really wanted they could have solely decided the outcome. They are MS they control like 95% of the worlds computers. All they have to do is disable any BD integration feature in all MS operating systems and BD would have been screwed without the PC market. Simple as that, but MS didn't do that.
