Post what version of Wii Fit (NTSC, PAL) your playing and what version Wii console your playing it on. Also post the mod chip and firmware your using and if your playing a backup or original.

Problem:
1- the wiifit logo appears in the wii disk channel and black screen after clicking on the start.
2- loading the freeloader first and swapping disk: rolling picture
any clue on how to fix that

It brings up the main wii screen? Press A at startup. If that doesn't work, verify your batteries aren't dead. If that doesn't work, press the sync button in the battery compartment on the controller until the lights blink, then hit the sync button on your wii. It sounds like the remote itself isn't being recognized if the wii menu doesn't see it.
Also, why aren't you running 1.9s on your wiikey? Upgrade your firmware!

Works bang-on perfectly. Didn't request an update, since I was already running up-to-date firmware.

Problem here is that the inbuilt brickblocker doesn't bypass updates on original discs. So I never got past that stage.

The Wiikey's brickblocker killed the update, but the game loads straight into a black screen.

1.9s with block updates enabled
works no problems at all installed the wii fit channel notice nothing at all didnt even get a warning about mod hadwere at all..

I have searched the forum, but cannot find the definitive answer (apologies if it's already been asked) on whether the Wii Balance Board is the same in all regions, ie no region protection.
I would expect it would be the same as the Wiimotes and nunchuks - where they work in any region, but can anyone confirm?
I am looking to buy the PAL Wii Fit game for my NTSC-USA Wii (D2C modded), and then use an NTSC version of the game rather than my PAL disc.

Im in the UK I have a 3.1U modded Wii (not sure what chip set is in it)and I Have a UK wiifit original game came with the wiifit and I have a copy (dont know region of the copy either.
If I try these on my Wii whats the wort that could happen

Got a copy from BestBuy yesterday. The disc was NOT recognized!!! It just kept spining. :(
Is it possible that it's because of my modchip or the disc was defective?? Hope the later case but.. Waiting for the replacement for now.
My friend said Nintendo might do something to prevent the game running on a modded console.. (possible??)
Anyone has the same problem?

yes it does work ( you will need to wait till u start the game then it will ask u to connect the balance board ( i was worried that mine was broken at first but i went in the game and saw that i just had to wait)

I have a Japanese chipped Wii
I want to buy the WiiFit in the UK - so will be using UK game and board. Will this work OK on my Japanese Wii?
What are the issues with regards to the board and de-calibrating your controllers - as I cannot access my settings is this something I should be worried about?
It is already semi-bricked at 3.2J so not worried about any update issues

you should worry bout the update issue because the uk wii fit has the 3.1E_v2 update, if you dont have the 3.1J_v2 update already then u cant play it.
