I have a PAL Wii and I downloaded a PAL version of Mario. I burnt it onto a disc verbatim 4x DVD-RW using IMGBurn but my Wii cannot read it.

Am I using the wrong type of disc or do i need my Wii chipped ??

Someone told me u didnt have to have a mod chip in order to play the games unless it was from a different region

Thanks Nyum Nyum

Whoever told you that is an idiot, because you need a modchip to play burned games reguardless of what region its from.

A) Use DVD-R, or if you must, DVD+R. Don't use DVD-RW.
B) You need a modchip.
