I did order 4 chips three weeks ago from them and they arrived, having a delay says they'll go out tomarrow, Jim50 i wouldnt give in that easy!!! ask for your money back!! surely it was registerd mail?

If asking fails demand it back!!

I did kinda think that tbh Jim50, try and get your money back and if they so no ask if they'll send you another chip and if they say no to that, as finook says DEMAND IT BACK!

Also, item should have been sent recorded delivery....mine was, so if its been sent then they should have a tracking number.

I asked for the delivery ref number, but i didnt get a reply.

it looks like i'm a one off. Everyone else has not had any problems which is good to hear.

i have ordered another one thru

I also asked for the tracking number and he mailed it to me. The number exists and a package is on its way to germany. So it looks very good. Some delay, but if the arrives for that reasonable price, i won´t complain. Cross my fingers, that you get your package as well!

i have placed order with www.wii-chip.co.uk on thursday & it arrived saturday morning by 1st class recorded.it took 2 days.hope this helps

ordered on wed last week , came monday this week.

installed the chip and works great.

was much cheaper than a lot of other companies as well

cost me under £35 for D2CKey +WII-CLIP(Presoldered)& TRI-WING SCREWDRIVER

Glad to here guys, my shipment is due any day now will keep you posted, the guy seems very professional and replies straight away, it seems wii-chip may have bit off more then they can chew and are swamped with orders and cant ship them out fast enough or just don't have the stock, saying that if this order arrives safely in the next day or so i would deal with again but give myself more time.

Used www.consolextreme.com here - ordered 3pm, delivered next day before 9am. Paid a bit extra compared to other sites, but CX are close enough to me that a trip to put a brick through their window if it didn't work wasn't a pain :D

lol i also had a look at their company and they are very near me as well.

but i get the impression its a one man company.

a few weeks back, it had a message on their site saying, they were on hols for 2 weeks

So you can make a dent in the entire company with a visit then...

All I can say is if the larger companies reacted more like Allan at CX, there'd be happier people all around.

I purchased a d2c2 presoldered chip mod from www.wi-chip.co.uk on monday... it arrived today... I think that is brilliant service!!!

I have also asked chris a million and one questions and I believe he has been very straight with me... and very helpful.

I would never normally write something like this but I have had better service from chris than you would get from any multinational or national store and I don't think it's fair that he's only had bad press from this thread.

llcooldl, let me get one thing straight before you go off ranting,if you took the time to actually read peoples complaints on this thread about wii-chip you would then know they had perfect reasons to do so, example "Jim50" was waiting nearly a month for his order!!,
Personally i think wii-chip and the Guy Chris who runs it does an outstanding job, excellent customer service also! i have orderd many items off him now and hopefully will do so in the future, People have a right to complain and also complement, and if you don't think thats "FAIR" your living in dream land my friend.

On that note i would highly recommend www.wii-chip.co.uk

Having reread my so called "Rant" I'm not quite sure why you called it a rant, or that you felt the need to chastise me??

I simply put forward an alternative view and don't criticise anyone for complaining? The "fair" comment was in regard to the thread having equal weighting towards bad and good experience. You seem to have misinterpretted my statement and somehow concluded that I think it's unfair for people to be able to complain. That is simply not what I have written.

Perhaps you require English lessons? You should also learn not to jump to conclusions, I have read the entire thread. I did so before purchasing my mod chip.

i'm glad other people have had good experiences with this company.

I did not bad mouth the company once, nor did i start this thread to bad mouth them.

I started it so i could get other peoples experiences who have dealt with this company, and so far no one has had any major issues.

There?s actually no point in me wasting my time or any minute piece of effort arguing with such a petty person as your self, "English lessons" ok right my three year old could hold a better argument. Before this thread is completely wrecked I'm going to stop it here, its phrases like ?I normally don?t do this etc...?,? It?s not Fair?, and if you did read the Thread you would see that wii-chip got bad press rightly so and instead of you just making a valid point ex.?Well I had good dealings with them etc.? you started with all this lark not an "alternative view".

What are you talking about 'he's only had bad press from this thread,' people have posted on this thread before you saying that their chips have arrived from wii-chip.co.uk. It's in one scenario when it never came, thats why it's got bad press.

Hi guys, Chris here owner of wii-chip.co.uk - Wow my own personal thread on afterdawn! I do feel privileged :-)

Just want to say thanks for your feedback and jim50 again, apologies for your package not turning up mate. Even though it was nearly 2 months ago now when you ordered I know exactly who you are as it's the only refund I've had to do since starting the site due to a non-arrival, royal mail state a parcel is not deemed missing until 15 working days after posting, not knowing this i think it was working day 15 when you asked for you refund "it's taking too long I want a refund immediately" in which case you've failed to mention in this thread that you got the refund the same day, 4th June right? Along with a reply to each of your emails within 24 hours (it sometimes takes that long as the arthritis from replying to 300+ emails per day is starting to kick in!).

From my past 6 years of mail order experience I know it's not unusual for royal mail to deliver a 1st class package anything up to 10 working days after I've posted them, it's not that rare for this to happen! in my defence if I refunded/replaced everyone for royal mail delayed deliveries every time they got requested then there wouldn't be any point staying in the business due to the financial loss I?d suffer doing so, i work damn hard every day to get everyone?s order out before 5pm, sometimes I make a further two 6.30pm and 7.30pm trips to the post offices in town to make sure even as few as the last 1-3 orders for that day get sent out same day. It really makes me think what?s the point when royal mail only delivery 80% of the packages next day anyway, please don't forget that the fault of this isolated incident lies with them and not with myself as I refunded you promptly and offered a replacement for the missing package free of charge, but from your email gathered you we're pretty miffed and thought the best action to take would be a refund, i don't blame you for having a go just wanted to set the record straight mate!

I like to think all my customers are forum users and treat each one of you like you are a critic reviewing my business, and looks like the hard work is paying off reading some of your comments! Glad the rest of you find my site o.k. and thank you all for you kind comments, sorry again Jim50 glad it all worked out for you in the end mate

Yeah, Sorry..... I did forget to mention i did get my refund, and it was very prompt as well, so thanks for that.

I realise it wasnt your fault and royal mail do lose stuff from time to time. these things happen
