Hi,
I have cfw 3.71 m33 and would like to know how to rip umd to my pc. I tried fastloader and umd dumper by placing their folders in psp/game folder. But I keep getting "game unable to load" error. TIA.

On the PSP XMB menu:

-Press select
-Scrool down to USB Device
-Than change the option to UMD disc
-Than plug your PSP into the computer and go to USB mode
-than just click and drag the game onto your desktop or whatever desired folder

I'm sorry but I don't have USB device option in my XMB menu. Where can I find it? Please advise. Thanks.

When you press select on the XMB, a new menu should pop up, called the VSH menu. On this menu, move to USB DEVICE and change it to UMD DISK.

Then exit the VSH menu, and go to the SETTINGS tab on your XMB. The second option from the top (i think) should be USB CONNECTION. select this and the iso image will be able to conncet your PSP to your PC, and copy the iso to the PC.
Change USB DEVICE back to MEMORY STICK on the VSH menu, re-enable the USB CONNECTION and copy the ISO to the ISO folder on your PSP.

Then your done.

exactly what ibizagti said... If you still can't seem to get it to work, upgrade to the latest custom firmware and try.

I can't remember if 3.71 M33 had the VHS meneu or not :P ...

Thank you so much ibizagti. It works. You're the man!

If you don't mind, I have another question. I download a couple of games. After I extract them, they are not iso format. They have three folders (dh, iso and psp). How or where do I put them on the memory stick. Can I make an iso file from these folders. Thanks again.

right the dh folder is devhook and the psp folder has some files in it to run devhook

but because your on cfw you wont need devhook as its sorta built into cfw.

the folder that you need is the iso folder open it up and inside should be the iso/cos file. beware iso files can be opened with winrar so if you get to a point where it has PSP_GAME folder and PSP_(something forgoton what it is).BIN the just go back a step

id also like to put that filer 5.1 is a good app to get as you can rip iso files on the go no need for a computer (good if a friend has a game you want) and its a very handy app
