socom ftb2 . cant connect online??

hi guys, i have 3.71m33-2 , and when i try to play socom(iso) infratructure, it loads my internet connection until it times out. My internet connection is working fine because i can connect to the browser.
The socom version is 1.00 and i cant seem to update either. When i find an update, and put it in my game folder. it says game cannot be started on all of them i have. I have kernel 1.5 :P so it shouldnt be a problem.
WHY ISNT IT WORKING??
please help...
