hi all i really need some help using excel. the spreadsheet i have has hundreds of street names on it and it lists all the house numbers, so for example "high street" will be on the spreadsheet 40 times then i'll have another 100 or more streets with all the numbers displayed as well, when i choose auto filter, it brings down a drop down menu with all the streets on the spreadsheet to choose, how do i get excel to display that list, so instead of having 1000+
of road details on the spreadsheet it only lists the street names on the spreadsheet. for example high rd
high street
at the moment it lists every number in the street, thanks any help would be great.
