Help me in unbricking my PsP (fat)

Hi all readers,
i m new to this gadget, still was trying to install new themes by using the guidance given over the phone by one of my chap'
as was trying to install some themes from the recovery mode.
Still, was able to install few of them, until one which i tried an finally my PsP never restarted.
Now, whenever i try to start my PsP(fat) it just comes up as a complete Black Screen.
Please Help, as i can't even go inside the recovery menu again.
i have got a Backup created of my old recovery, WORKING status psp.
please HELP . . .. . .. .

well its odd that you cnat get to recovery mode when you just changed a theme.
i suggest trying this is the friend of yours has a cfw psp -http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/580254

also just to check take the battery out then put it back in and try accessing the recovery mode

as now what all i have got is my bricked psp and a Battery(normal-not pandora)
and a 4Gb memory stick
my friend has refused to help me.as he is afraid that i might brick his psp as well
