My 360 had the ring of death and when i turned it off then back on it worked fine. Any reason this happened and will it break soon?

ring of death? which ring or rings. 3 rrod means that your 360 is overheating which is one of the most common problems. There is no absolute way to rid of it, but there are tricks you can use to prevent it for a little but of time.

for those of you who have fixed the ring o' death, what whould be the easiest method you could suggest, also what method do you think has the highest success rating? as i am going to be doing one of these next week.

just fixed mine 2 day's ago very easy.
only took me 4 hours(3.30hrs to FIND the right sized "allen key's" lol)

all in all very easy and cheap.
any questions just ask:)

I think the various x-clamp fixes have something like a 90% success rate if done correctly
