(for hdadvance/loader)

Hi I have a 120gig maxtor harddrive thats compatible with hdloader/advance but I get the following message when booting up with both.

(hardware error, hdloader can not detect a hard drive etc...)

I hooked the hd into an external usb enclosure that I had laying around but vista doesnt have the option to format the drive into fat32, only ntfs and some other newer fat format. I tried both other formats and I get the same message when booting up.

My ps2 network adapter is like new, and I get online and all that just fine. Also I make sure everything is fit and secure when booting up hdloader/advance.

any suggestions?

you don't format the hdd with windows; a ps2 hdd is not suppose to be visible in windows.

download winhiip 1.7.6, and format the hdd with that. also, enable 48bit LBA in the options.

ps2: v7 scph-39001 - independence exploit - hdloader 0.8c - maxtor 300gb hdd
(+[__]%) psp slim ta-085v1: 6.60 PRO B10
wii (powered by bootmii/priiloader): 4.1u - d2x v10beta53-alt (base 56) - configurable usb loader v70r51/devolution r188 - wd scorpio black 7200rpm 320gig w/ ams venus ds2 enclosure

got a whole lot more to list . . .

make sure the jumper is set to master.

if the problem still happens, format the hdd in windows to NTFS. then retry winhiip. if it doesn't format, then the hdd may be a dud and you may need a new one.
