I don't understand why it does that...

I just recently went from 3.71 M33-4 to 3.90 M33-3 but I HATED 3.90 so I made a Pandora Battery and Magic Memory Stick to Get my PSP back down to 3.71 M33-4 and it worked fine...

But whenever I am in-game and I hit Home key and I say "Yes" it freezes on the Please Wait... Screen and then it shuts off...

PSP Works but how can I make it so I can use the Home Key to get back to the XMB without Freezing??

Please help.

it could be a bad firmware flash...do you still have your pandora? if so try remaking your MMS (try THIS guide), and reinstall your firmware.

Well I used this guide...Also I am on a TA-082 FAT PSP

How to make pandora battery and memory stick -Safe n' easy-

I made the Pandora Battery and MMS with a 1gb Sony Memory Stick Pro Duo and I used them to downgrade my psp to 3.71 M33-2 and then I upgraded to 3.71 M33-4.

Could it possibly be I didn't get the new version of 1.5 kernel add-on??

Also I converted my Pandora Battery back to a Normal Battery with the Program...

So any help would be great. Also is there a way to test if my Original Battery that I made a Pandora Battery out of and switched back to Normal Battery via Program...is back to normal battery...

Currently I am using my 8GB Memory Stick with No Modifications and the Battery that was a Pandora Battery and then converted back into the Original Battery...Is there any way to make sure it is a normal battery again??

One other thing...I got FF VII for PSX on my PSP and they are working perfect...I don't have a popsloader in my plugins so how is the game working?? Is it a possibly problem for the Home Key Freezing up or no??

Personally i would recommend remaking your Pandora and MMS with THIS guide using your 1gb memory stick. i can verify it will work 100% if you follow it correctly, and it will also show you how to make a pandora, and convert it back afterwards. It may be worth verifying it will work on a TA-82 though.

If your battery boots your PSP back to the XMB then it is a normal battery again, as a pandora does not do that.

The 1.50 kernal wouldn't effect the home key i'm afraid.

All custom firmware (and OFW for that matter) have an inbuilt PSX emulator, which is why your FFVII works. All POPSLOADER does is increase the compatability, as some games work better with the emulator files from different firmware versions. Again, that shouldn't have anything to do with the HOME key problem.

hope that helps.

I used that guide but I don't understand WHY my Dam game freezes whenever I use the Home Key...I want to go back to the XMB Menu I have to shutoff my PSP Completely and Restart...I am using a Normal Battery and a 8GB Memory stick...

I made a Pandora Battery (With Second Battery) + 1GB MMS...I use a 8gb Memory Stick Pro Duo for All My games and stuff and a regular normal battery...

Why does this keep working for the pandora battery and MMS but when it comes down to using the HOME Key in-game and it freezes on the Please Wait While I still hear the music from within the game...It didn't do this when I originally Upgraded 3.71 M33-4...

Do I need to go out and Buy a NEW PSP Fat Battery...Do they even sell them anymore?

Like ibizagti (sorry if spelled wrong) said i recommend making the pandora battery and the MMS again. I also recommend keeping the pandora battery and mms and go buy new ones because if your psp ever bricks you have the power of the pandora battery in your hands so you can unbrick.

This happened to me too before and I found it to be a problem with one of my plugins. Try deleting them or at least check them.

This happened to me due to a bad ISO/CSO. The game worked but the Home Key made the PSP freeze so I got another copy of the game.

Formatting flash1 fixes it but I wouldn't recommend it to you because when you format flash1 from 3.71m33 some setting change and it makes everything worse.

It has nothing to do with battery you can try re-installing firmware. You can try this to go back to 1.5 then update back to 3.71m33.
