ok im just about to look on ebay for the sata card i will need to flash my 360 with i cant remember which via chipset i need i have searched the forum but i cant find the awnser it may be that i havent looked hard enough can you tell me which chipset it is?

I found out the hard way that if you dont have intel motherboard that via chipset wont work.thought you might want to know that.I have Isp in gateway.Peace

I have an AMD 3200+ and I bought that same chipset and it works perfectly

isp isent that a internet service provider? and last time i checked a expansion card ran independantly of the motherboard

How can it not work.I think you were talking about if your motherboard with SATA slots had the wrong chipset it wouldnt work.The pci card runs on its own with a chip set on it I think.

that is correct the sata card runs compleetly indipendant of the motherboard it has its own chipset

Don't get it from ebay at some jacked up price just because it's labeled 'for xbox' buy it form newegg. For much cheaper.
