Has anyone not been able to connect to wifi with CFW 3.90 M33 on a fat psp? I could scan and find my network at home, but then i am not able to connect. It gives me an error saying "An error occured when trying to connect" It's similar to this:

I had the same issue once... it was my linksy's router not the psp. I could connect either of my laptops via wifi too the network no problem... my PSP's and my and my wifes PDA phones were a no go... I tried EVERYTHING I could think of or find on the net to solve the problem. I never did figure out exactly what was wrong with the router config...what I did to solve it was hard reset the router... configured it EXACTLY the same way it was when my PSP's and phone's would not connect... yet all the sudden ALL of the devices could connect to the net work.

BTW Both of my fat PSP's and one slim connect to my home network running CFW 3.90 m33-3... the CFW probably has nothing to do with your problem.

no problems with my slim 3.90 m33-3 and my brother's fat 3.90 m33-3. both connects just fine.

most likely your router may need powercycling.

ps2: v7 scph-39001 - independence exploit - hdloader 0.8c - maxtor 300gb hdd
(+[__]%) psp slim ta-085v1: 6.60 PRO B10
wii (powered by bootmii/priiloader): 4.1u - d2x v10beta53-alt (base 56) - configurable usb loader v70r51/devolution r188 - wd scorpio black 7200rpm 320gig w/ ams venus ds2 enclosure

got a whole lot more to list . . .

This MAY work... in my case I powered cycled/reset my router a number of times... nothing. I reset everything in the router setup settings back to factory, even configured it as an unsecure network, still nothing. The ONLY thing that worked was that hard reset back to factory defaults and setting it up again.

I have a slim running 3.90 m33-2 and am having the exact same problem. I used to be able to connect, now I can't. Let me know if you get it fixed. I've tried rebooting my router and modem with no luck.

What was odd for me was that at one time running this version of cfw, I was able to connect. I did a network update and downloaded 3.90 m33-3. I saw what this version fixed and decided not to install it. That was the last time I was able to connect. I haven't done anything else to my psp since then, other than add and remove some games.

I was able to get mine to work after reading some other forums. It appears for some reason my router was set to allow 802.11g only. I changed my setting to allow g and b and it fixed my issue with getting online. I'm not sure why that would have changed on my router, but I got it fixed, so that's all I care.

For anyone having these issues, look for that setting on your router and change it if needed.
