What is veryone's experience/opinion on the disc life of -r's &/or +r's? I'm just curious if one format is supposed to last longer than the other. It seems as though the more I read up the more I see people beginning to gravitate towards dvd+r's.

Well, most manufacturers say DVDs will last 100 years, so I'll let you know in 99 years when mine hit the century mark. Anyway, the DVD will be obsolete in 10 years. I think the manufacturer/brand is the most important factor for longevity, not the +R/-R format. Stick with companies that have reputations for quality control in the manufacturing process like Taiyo-Yuden, Ritek, etc.
