i have downloaded a wii game its in rar format i have unrared it but it stillshows a rar file have i done something wrong

Is the rar file the same size as the original? What happens if you try and unrar the second one?

There is an option in winrar to associate the file extension *.iso as a winrar file, check in ur winrar options whether that box is ticked.

If so u have't a problem, just burn with isoburn or similar.

I suspect that you have iso files set to open with winrar, so if you have file extensions hidden it would still appear to be a winrar file.
