Comcast, the largest cable television provider in the US, is looking to get a little bit smaller. The company is hoping to sell 46 cable systems in Maine, Kentucky, Louisiana, New Mexico, Virginia, Georgia, West Virginia and California. I'm not sure what could be worse for the South... Comcast owning the systems or Cox and Charter picking them up...

Here in chattnooga TN (welll its near me anyway) the power comany is getting into the phone/cable biz, comcast is in for a fight, we need stable competition across the board, regulated monopolies is no god for anyone.
