Anyone played this? I hate how Quake is using the Enemy Territory name, Quake is good, classic, but still doesn't deserve the ET badge of honor.

no everything i am seeing is pal. i love the old quake games so i am waiting to try this one out. have yo uchecked out the new thing they are doing on the pc called quake live? its in beta stage right now but its going to be free for the public.

homesick, well your obviously not looking to hard then. They say pal, but if you read they are region free. Ya i got the game....this is it to me. Its like ShadowRun. The "campaign" is just like a training match in shadow run but you have objectives. But basically you, run fast, have multiple classes, and you just try and kill people and do the silly objectives.
In my opinion, this game is decent for just picking up and playing. I haven't played the online yet, so that could be kinda fun. But as for the campaign, once you beat it, you will probably never pick up the game again.

well, all i know about it is the gaming clan i am in just made a new division for it. So i guess there is some interest in the online part of it.
Personally those types of games are not my cup of tea. I like a more tactical shooter where strategy comes into play.

I watched a couple multiplayer matches on Gametrailers. It kind of looks to be along the lines of Halo.

I meant along the line of a sci fi shooter. And it looked like it had a few veichles you could pilot.
I didn't mean quality-wise in regards to Halo.

okay well then your correct. Its like halo in the sci fi sense but like shadowrun in the gameplay.

i've never played it or heard anything about it to be quite honest with you. i might of saw it in one of my mag's but guess i didnt pay much attetion.

The PAL version is region free.
Just played this here is the Review:
Man it reminds me of Wolfesntein ET so much, THE Wolfenstein ET. The voices, the stuff you have to build, the classes... everything almost exactly the same, but in Quake world instead of WWII Wolf world- what a pity.
Graphics are sucky for 2008 on xbox, I don't know what happened on the port from the PC, but man the game is ugly. But the gameplay is amazing, it's what you would expect from ET game.
IGN gave it a bad review, I don't think it's that bad, as bad as they say. IGN really needs a better XBOX review staff I think.... (GTA IV=10?? no)
It's nice to play this game on the XBOX, but aimming isn't as good of course, there is auto aim feature. Overall I give this game a 7.9 for bad graphics and great overall.
