I have mozillafirefox browser and I am blocked pop up and I am geeting all these XXX site pop up. I am sick with this. My kids can not sit on computer. Please help me to stop all this dirt in my home. Please help. What I need to do these pop up. All helps are welcome. Thanks
what you need is to disable pop-ups in mozillafirefox options. Also you can disable pop-ups in your virus protector (cant think of the word for it) E.X McAfee, Norton....
i havnt seen an xxx pop-up for years, did they outlaw them maybe? maybe i just dont get pop-ups though. every once in a great blue moon i will get one for a registry cleaner.
Thanks for the input. I used Mozillapop up block. But it seems like that it not working. Now as one fellow said to install adblock. I did that and it seems like that first I need to put all those XXX site URL and then I will be able to block them. Is there any other way ? I have installed McAfee and also used parental lock and it not working so far.Please give me more idea to hendle this sad situation.
for one thing stop surffing for porn, second backup everything that you need, thain wipe your drive, that way you will know that you have a fresh start ok? good luck
Hi picky7. This sounds like a malware issue. Perhaps you could post a hijackthis log along with a scan log of whatever antimalware you have in safe mode.

PS: Please note that while pop ups can be caused by webpages, when it gets more numerous, it is a sympton of malware. That is why ad block or any other pop up blocker cannot stop them, because the pop ups are not caused by webpages, but rather, malware.
