Burning Movies onto DVD disc's

I'm using DVD Shrink 3.1 and putting the Movies onto my hard drive fine... then when i go to put the movie onto the disc it burns on - but it doesn't work in the DVD player. I have tried it on both DVD+R and DVD-R. I followed instructions of putting the file VIDEO_TS into the file to burn. Is there something i'm missing in the process??? please help anyone. this is really bugging me. I have used the burners software as well as nero 6.0

Some DVD players have problems with burnt DVDs. But if the DVD does not play in the drive you burnt it in on your computer, then there is something wrong with yor burning procedure. This could be software, hardware, firmware or media dependant. Have you tested the burnt disc on your computer?
