DVD to VHS prob??

Hey
I recently connected my computer to my tv via the
normal RCA cables. My friend only has a Video player so I decided to record a DVD onto video for him. I played the DVD in my computer while recording on video player.
When I played back the video, the picture quality was fine but my sound was really soft. You couldnt really hear the sound at all. My computer volume is max as well as the software dvd player on computer.

I would greatly appreciate it if anyone knew how I could overcome this. Thanks heaps!

Why don't you do it via a standalone DVD Player - much easier and less likely to have problems since the connection will be via a scart lead?
