So I'm to the point where you overheat your console. Unfortunately, the box will only power on for about a half a second before it cut power, giving the three lights.
any advice? I Have everything plugged in.

I tried the towel rap trick where u rap it in a towel to over heat it to re-solder it self again did it for about a half hr (unplugged everything HDD,ethernet, video cable) than let it cool for an hr or 2 worked for a couple days than the same problem so i did it again, but i saw a tut where sum one used sum slim cardboard like from a ciggeret box to go over the heat sinks that connect to the plastic air flow vent things so i did it, havent had a problem in 4 months now, hopefully she holds up i can get sum pics if u want.

I can't overheat it because I can't get it running.
And fine, I'll sell it for $100.

It's definitely not running, there is no power going to it and it never gets hot. Even the power brick goes out.

Well considering the cord and brick works on my other 360 I doubt that that's the problem.

Sticker is long gone, but how long have you had the system?
You can exchange at a store if less than 30days. They don't check the sticker.

Seriously, just take it to Wal-Mart! Tell them it stopped working! Even if you didn't buy it there, they will take it without a receipt!
