Optorite DD0201 multiregion?

Hi there,
Anyone know how to make the optorite DD0201 DVD+-RW drive into a multiregion drive? I know it can burn region free but can you disable the region switch, (i've not set it's region yet my new drive claims to only have only 3 changes left!) i'm reluctant to set the region so every DVD i want to watch I have to make a region free copy first
Hope someone has some ideas

try going to vcdhelp.com this site has more information than many places, go to hacks, type in your model number of the dvd player and it will tell you if there is a hack to change to multiregion, if there is it will usually explain how, hope this helps
