VT6421A SATA CARD
ok so i have A few things to ask.

1 do i need to install the drives of the cd it came with ?

2 or can i just hook up card and use it with out getting an ERROR when tring to flash ?

3 If i get an ERROR when flashing my Hitachi 47dj drive what should i do?

Well unless your computer has the drivers to install it already, then you will probably need to use the disc to install it correctly!

if you get an error flashing the hitachi drive with the 6421 card, perhaps you should get the card that is intended to flash the hitachi drives.

I thought that was the card for flashing Hitachis, thats what ive been reading. Hope so anyway i have just ordered one. lol...

the 6421 'can' be used for the hitachis but is primarily used for samsungs and benq's. the card for hitachis i think is like 3112 or something like that. but most people have got the 6421 to work, some just have problems with it though.

Hopefully mine will work, just my luck not to though. lol, if i had known the 3112 was just for hitachi i would of gone for that one. Oh well time will tell. Fingers crossed...
