Theres this achievement in GTA 4 that says to beat the story missions within 30 hours.Im going for it on my first playthrough.Has anyone got it and do you think ill get it soon.By the way,does watching the cutscenes count as time.Ive played 77 missions and im not doing any freemode at all.Im at like 20 hours and 36 min.Do you think I can make it.And feel free to post info about your in game stats.

I got it in 19 hours. Just check your stats at start menu. I even took out Brucie ,little jacob and pracie for those achievements and still got it. kato007 is gmer tag

There are 90 or 91 missions. just take a cab to destionaton this will save a lot of driving play time. oh, if you fail mission load and replay. Rinse and repete until youaccomplish mission. my brother in law had around 20 hrs at that mission and got it. We both did it on the first try. your on mis. 77 ? I believe thats the bell missions and the italian guy p........ something? You should be fine. Just take cabs !

Hey man thanks for the reply.Actually,I do take taxis to destinaions now and kill the guy and get the money and go do the mission.So I already do that.And Im past the italian guy ray.And Im done with phils missions.Im at like 22hours.Time goes to fast in the game.I hope I make it.And,also,I always load my game after a failed mission.How did you take out Brucie and Lil Jacob and Packie?I thought you never kill them.Or do u mean you finished all of their side jobs and real missions?I did too.Ill probably add you on XBL.THanks for the info.I appreciate it.I havent got a reply yet and finally got one.Only like 14 missions togo.I heard theres 94 95 story missions.

Ya, you get to choose your ending, take the money symbol.I do not want to spoil the ending. But I find it a lot easier to stear a boat than to ride a motocycle. also you need a achieve for gatting your friends to like you at 90% . If you choose money one of your friends dies hence ,1 less friend to take out. The money gives you $200,000 so you will probally get all of your money spent on the cab fairs back + the $500,000 Bank ac achievement. If you want to see the other ending just save in another save slot before you make your choice and play out that endind.

No, for Brucie and Jacob, tocall them ( at a certain time) and click on drinking, bowling, eating or strip club. Each character has their own personalities. Brusic likes up scale things like heli rides and good shows and restaurants. Jacob, likes drinking and fass foods, ( chicken Bell) i think. To get Dwain out you need to answer his email. Then he will call you to go out. if you unlock his special ability( Homies) you coud then call him up right befor a mission and he will come with 2 othe men( just like Saint's Row) and help you out on a hard mission. I didn't unlock him till after the game was complete. I wish I had though. It would have been a lot easier.

One more thing. your stats is were you find your actual time played. Not on the same saved.You coul foward time in the game by going to bed as a save. This has no effect on the amount of time actally played. Get it?

If you are 22 hours into game just concentrate on finishing it, then worry about taking them all out. go ahead and send friends request@ kato007. I have the guide for GTA4 which answers any question you might have.

I already have the 500 million achievement. Im like at 600k now.I dont worry about the money at all.Ok what do you meanm by different endings.DO you mean that if you choose to kill dimitrty or not itll have a different ending?cuz u dont kill the rest of your friends.And I know ur friends have a certain amount of likeness till they bcome ur friends and ill do that after the game to get the acehivement for it.Now that out of the way,I will kill dimitry and roman wont die but kate will.ANd I dont give at all for kate.Ill add u as soon as i get on.I havenet got on XBL in like 4 days.I kinda hate it how the achievment makes u rush the game.I want to take it nice and slow.

Yes, If you choose him to live or die . Then there will be an I con for an offer depending on what you do, A dagger od a money synbol.

Well if you kill Dimity Roman dies and kate lives. If you spare Dimity Kate dies and Roman Lives. I did the first one, onnly because now that he is dead I didnt have to take him places. I dont car about his cab services either. I use the yellow cab to do side missions .He was annoying , because he kept calling every 5 minutes while I was in between missions.

I don't unerstand what that's supposed to mean. But its this simple.I killed that man at the airport( maybe his name wasn't dimitry)( all I know is that it was dome old friend from russia who set up Nicoli). and then saw a dollar sign on my map so I did that and Roman got killed on his wedding day hence the ending with a boat chase instead of motorcycle.

Maybe you have a choice for dagger or Money Symbol wether you kill him or not. I wouldn't know because I wanted to kill him after what he did to Nicoli. After that I checked my map and only saw the dollar sign But , My brother in law said there were 2 symbols on the map. $ sign was in NYC and dagger was in Brooklyn. I never saw the dagger symbol though. ( maybe because I'm color blind, no pun intended!)

The guy you kill at the airport was called Darko.HE killed all of nikos freinds for 1000 dollars so i killed him.UR only choice that was.And then the money and revenge sign came so i went to revenge and killed Dimitry on the boat..It was so fun when i got down to his last words.I wanted to kill him so bad.So now im on the last mission which is kinda tough.I made it to the helicopter and then i didnt know there were rocket launchers so i died and failed.Ill try later.And Ill get the LBC achievement!!im on 23 hours on the last mission!!!and then i can get the side mission acheivemnts and stuff.By the way,the revenge sign was east on the map and kinda dark to see.I found it after like 5 secs.U kill Dimitry on the same boat u came to LC with.

Sorry man.Ive been kinda busy this week.Ill add you the next time i get on xbl.Yah some of them are hard to get but i calculated the ones i can get easily and it turns out for me that i can get like at least 500 GAMERscore easily.But 2 people are better than one.So ill add you.I still need that KING OF CUBED achievement.
