Hi
Just wondering if anyone have problems backing up Snow Falling on Cedars? Backup to DVD+RW just fine, but get disk errors when backup to DVD+R (tried twice as I thought just a faulty Memorex DVD, both failed).
Using DVD Shrink, then Record now. Thanks in advance.

Having it burn correctly using RW is a sign that you're doing everything correctly. It is now time to look at things other than your burning -

Things to check:)

Make sure your media is "squeaky" clean. Nary a smudge in sight.

Let's start by rebooting your system, that?ll clear all your clipboards.

Are you doing anything at all on your PC when your system is burning :-( ?
If Yes, Don't do it !
If No, give yourself 2 Points

Is your system running programs in the background while you are burning ? Anything in msconfig could do it :-(
If Yes, Turn de stuff off.
If No, give yourself 2 Points

Have you called your Mom today ?
If Yes, then youse is a real good kid !
If No, forget your points, take yourself out behind the outhouse and give yourself a sound kick in the butt, then go and give Mom a call while you try for a good burn.

Let?s see if the simple stuff works ?

Scuba Pete, long time no hear, god I love yer sense of humor. By the way thanks for all yer help, just incase I forgot to tell ya. Sorry for being off topic. Hey I got a possble answer, at what speed did you burn, the lower the better, try using Nero to burn. I have as yet to burn one coaster, thanks to Scuba Duba Pete. Sorry Pete couldn't resist, had to put a funny in there.
