I no i no this may have been done before, but ive been trying for weeks to do this so here i go:

Ive been trying to get saves form the pc to ar max using max meory, i have used hp's format tool and ive tried to put the saves on but it says there is nothing on the memory stick. ive have followed this guide: http://www.gamehoof.com/2006/06/06/copying-ps2-saved-games-to-pc/ but it still doesn't work! the memory card im using is a

P.S: the guide says you can use any memory stick.

Can you format it to what it was before you formatted w/ hp format tool. Maybe that is whats causing your problem.
I have used a pair of flash drives and it works without having to format them initailly.

Have you tried coying form memorycard to flashdrive? did it give an error msg? It might say what the problem is.

I tried before i done the hp format tool and still didnt work, and i trie put saves of memory card to stick but says unknown error

Problem Solved!! today i bought a sandisk micro cruzer 1gb and my saves are now working on it. ps it was a bargin! 9 quid from argos!
