hi guys anyone has any ideas on how to find out what is the brand of my mod chip if it needs to open up wii can someone teach me how ? can i just update my mod chip with wiikey wo knowing what my mod chip is ?

Lots of video's on you youtube showing u how to open up ur wii, u'll need to buy a triwing screwdriver though.

If its not a wiikey then no, you cant just use the wiikey update to update it. That update is only for the wiikey.

And as I told you in your previous post, you only need to update the chip if you're getting error 001. If you're getting any other error besides that one updating the chip wont do anything.

my wii just cant play certain games i dunno why i tried burning a few times dun seem to help i use nero at 4 x on imation dvd-r

I've had the same problem in the past when I downloaded a bad iso. I had to redownload from a different source before it worked.
