PAL or NTSC?

so before i start playing the wrong games on my wii, is there a way that you can 100% tell whether your wii is PAL or NTSC? I bought mine off craigslist and im pretty sure its NTSC/U but i wanna bee 100%. On th bottom it says C/RVL-USA, i dont know if that is confirming it or not.

also is there any difference in NTSC/U and NTSC/J? because sometimes i see games that are simply labeled NTSC with no japan or USA labels

Go to your Wii Settings and look at the top right corner. It should say X.X (being your firmware number) and then U, E, or J- U being USA, E being European, and J being Japanese.

There is a difference between NTSC/U and J. U being USA and J being Japanese. Look in the details of the file for more info of whether or not it is USA.
