problem with universal unbricker v3 on psp slim

i have a new psp slim v3.80 and i am trying to put the universal unbricker on it. i used my phat psp to get pandora and the magic memory stick and when i put the memory stick and battery on the psp slim i come up with a blank screen. i found this thread on the site ( http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/31/610313) that was close to what i was looking for but couldnt get it right. i need some help.

ok bro i had that same problem...

-check to see if your battery is pandorized
-when you start your psp up and hold L just like your going into recovery mode but hold L

i follow the instructions but when i put the battery and the memory stick the light is green and the screen is blank but it doesnt show it reading the memory stick though

oh ya thats weird it took me for ever to finally get it to work i dont know what i did but it worked ...

one more question what size and what brand memory stick you using as the mms

I FINALLY GOT IT !!!!!!!! i was using my laptop which is a windows nt but i got on my other computer which was an xp and it worked cuz i didnt get that yes or no question at the end of the easy installer...so yea..thanks though
