How do i get a winamp file on dvd?

I downloaded a movie, It came as a winamp file, what do I gotta do to burn this onto a dvd?

what type of file is it?
winamp isn't the type of file, rather the program that runs that type of file as default...

in windows explorer, go to Tools > Folder Options > Views > and uncheck the box that says Hide Known File Extensions

once you do this, that file will hopefully have a .XXX extension, most likely a .AVI or .mpg file...
