would this chip:

work on things other than D2C and D2C2? like D2A, D2B or DMS? because i vaguely remember reading something about that. or would it wonly work for D2C and D2C2

change the end numbers in your link from 49 to 50 and you will find what you're looking for.

well see, i saw that one but i wasnt sure. i need 2 buy a chip, and i put my serial number into a website, telling me i probably had a D2C, and i dont have a small enough tri-head 2 open it up and check. so i wanted to know if i bought something worth 100 dollars would it still work if somehow i didn't have a D2C

if you get the d2pro9, it will work on any wii, it's just how you instal it. the problem is the clip. I would suggest buying the two separately so you can solder the chip on yourself depending on what kind of chip you have.
