i found this on ebay this guy sells sony 4 gig pro duo cards but are they legit? he has a 99.0% rating over 300 positive and 3 negative that were related to communication not the product ..ive never used ebay so do you think its okay to buy this does it seem fake?

Tough call, it all seems to good to be true but there aren't any indications that they're fake. Were all his feedbacks from pro duo sticks or other items?

Very unusual, but I'm quite interested in whether he is legit or not as well because I was looking into getting a 4gb card myself but his price seems too low to be a genuine card.

i looked through all feed back people just say great card but there was 1 instance where this was posted

hmm well im going to be using it make a mms and after for games but if it is fake will it still work ? m also concerned about the actual size of the card and doesnt ebay have fraud protection? because its being sold as a sony card if its not cant i ask for a full refund?

no thay are not fake i just got 2 of them and thay work fine faster than the 4gb i got from game anyway.

yer its likely to be fake trust me the cheapest iv ever seen a genuin 4gb is £34 with is cheap as for genuin there rrp is £60

do you realy want to check i bet you'll find it fake if you got it of ebay for $25 trust me

to check go to the memory card icon on the psp then click triangle and then go to information if it says magic game: unknown its a fake.

now a fake has these different cons you may ge one you may get two or if your unlucky you'll get them all. (my fake 4gb has 2)

A) They have slow read/write speed and they slow in time (normal ms pro duo get about 5mb <-> as said on my vista but my fake get 1.5 max)

B) they fall to bits over about 1month or 2months or if lucky 6months

C) they dont work (you buy them dud or they break competly after a month or so)

D) less memory (loads of bad blocks in the way the memory card has been made and formated cant realy be change)

E) memory can become corrupt (blocks of memory will randomly become unreadable)

F) no real warranty on them (no sending them back)

those are the main cons for the fake memory stick and the only pro is that they are dirt cheap but if you can waste £15 then thats fine and sometime you get lucky and dont have any memory problems (like mine) and it lasts for a long time
