PS2 Slim No Data Error

Well I turned on my Slim 2 and to my surprise it makes a very loud Rattling noise, the disk dont spin (i think) and once I click on "browser" the screen displays a "NO DATA ON DISK" and so I decided to clean the lens, and see if that would help but to my dismay it did not work.

Has anyone out there encountered this? I searched around but not sure if this is similar to disk read error.

Could it be that the disk is not spinning? if so, how to fix?
If the laser is burnt out how to tell?

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in Advance

Its because you plosh your discs, and the inside parts of the dvd drive have become lubricated.
You will have to open your ps2, clean all the inner parts of it, and remove all the polish off them, (the dvd drive), particulalry the center, O ring disk (the white circle in the center of the drive, which is only visible till you open the drive)
You have to open the dvd drive, there are a number of tiny screws on the top of the drive, undo them all, and it can be opened, good luck!
