starview the box stuck

Hi guys.Just flashed starview the box for a mate.It flashed ok but it just says on .The remote only puts it in standby or on no other keys work.

you are stuck on the language menu now accept language english then into installation then put your provider into the top slot then auto scan then when finished go back to menu 1570 and turn the emu on exit to scrambled channel and wait for the box to update

No I just have ablank screen.Box says on,and the remote wont work.

I have flashed about 6 boxes no problem whit the same update.No problems

Try the bad flash method and see if this works for you, go to the end of karls post and there is a link there for starview help and follow the instructions

you just need the logo file to be put on it with gt rom 4.03 and it will work.
Consoles:

Sounds like the reg file is corrupt, without going through that. Best bet is to try and flash with a different pc.

Can you tell me what box you are flashing the starview 1 or 2 TheBox or 3 TheSuper
if you have just TheBox on the front of your tv it seems as if you have flashed the starview 1 with the box firmware is that possible ???

use the logo and select background file and it will download.

can some one please help i just tried to put the chanel editor file onto my starview one original box that i got from eamo s library now the box wont work at all when i turn it on it stops at the third green light and stays on that the remote wont workalso can some one please rell me how to jusst get it back working please

thnks noelf tried the loader started after a few times bot when it got to a hundred percent iwaited and said lashing failed any other ideas im after scanning throuh the link you gave but cant see any probs like this one cheers

you might have done the whole chann3l dump wrong.

i have tried all the advice given to me to help solve this problem id say ive tried it 30 times and it only downloaded once and when it got to 100 per cent it said flashing failed its still has one green light on front thats stuck can some one help please

Have you tried to reload the firmware ?
Try turning the b0x off at the back for a minute and turn back on

i have tried all the old firm ware but still no joy , i have plugged it out and left it for an hour and tried again still nothin , i have go to the flash burning stage and it goes to 100 per cent but it just says flash failed
