starview the box stuck

hi guys things i have been asked to get a box for my m8 so got the thebox nothing is happening with it it stays on a green light when i try to do the bad flash steps when it reaches 100 it say flash burning then failed ?? any help would be gr8

try flashing a different version. in ireland 4.50 and in uk 4.51.

Hello there,
This website have been very helpful to me in several ocassion. This time again one more help please. I have a clone Star**** box which i flashed with correct firmware, it worked for couple of months then started getting stuck. Then again i reflashed it with the same and new firmware. The Download was fine and sucessful. It scans all the channels(TelePest) but when the channels are updating it is getting stuck sometimes at 110% or 160%.I have also tried to feed the codes manually, but all in vain. The free channels are working fine.
IS MY BOX DEAD? Any suggestions is appreciated.

Dont know where youve been since last thursday ... but there was a major clampdown in the UK and all boxes were scrambled so you will need to wait till new fixes are available for your box before it will work.. although it should take coeds manually...

could anyone help me, i just got ?the box 4 super usb? i put the required software on it i think - some box.bin file or something. when i go to scan for stations it just stops at 10% and thats it, i tried restoring the factory settings and putting the software on again but same problem?????

Turn box off for a min or two and then go back to sly sports , if you flashed it properly this should work!!

Hope anyone can help. I have updated my starview 2(Geniun) with the latest firmware. After it was done I've switched the box off and back on again. All it comes up with is 0 and I cannot do anything. Box is frozen, remote doesn't work either. I have tried loading the logo file as described earlier in this thread with no luck. Keeps coming up update failed. Am I doing anything wrong? PLEASE Help.

I had the same problem of box being stuck at "0" after flash. The way I resolved it was finding the information posted back in June concerning recovery from bad flash. Its simple to follow and does work. However I only got my sv box back to where it was still no known auto roll fix.

I am a newbie from Dub 9 but if it's of any help to anyone I noticed the channels on my SV box (non clone) were scrambled last night 04/04/2008 but i found the usual fix of resetting the box to factory settings via menu, restart and PIN then auto scan under the install menu, put your provider into the top slot mine being NTL then auto scan then when finished go back to Main menu and type 1570 and set the key emu to "on" exit and you might need to restart box wait for the box to update. My original key data codes still worked.
The truth is out there.... Or maybe in here if you look!

Yes you do go to Eamo's FTA Library and download the The Box UK Fix 031208 and then drag them all out (3) bins individually on to your desktop, then you can easily pick them up in the bin box when pressing BIN BUTTON, 4.54 first App File Only box checked, then The LOGO file Background Data File box checked, and then the 8.02 fix bin file App File Only checked again, take your time and think about it, and wait for the pop up box DOWNLOAD COMPLETE to appear, each time before removing or doing anything else, it seems a long time, but be patient.

I forgot to use the new loader at first but then I followed the instructions and no problems. I now have a working EPG and too many channels to count.
So many, many thanks to the guys who solved our problems

No the fix is not out yet!!
and dont flash the box with the wrong firmware it will blow it!!
