starview the box stuck

Not quite sure if i am doing this right as first timer I have a starview 2 original and did a facdtory reset last night got all channels switched on emu and exited out but data updating stays on 0% I am on N*hell Dub Irl has been working perfectly till I did factory reset anybody got any ideas MCFC fan

Menu, 1570 in to Cas System and go down to Set Default Key and press OK, exit out to an encrypted channel, probably just a lazy update.

Cheers will try that later, to my knowledge I did that maybe not in that order was worried we might have been hit the same as boxes in uk
If that does not work any other suggestions

Yes, just turn the box off for a minute at the back, and then back on, then if that does not work, turn Emu off and press Default key then turn back on Emu, change the channel to BBC 1, or a Discovery channel. There is a number of way's - it just needs a kickstart now and then you have not got the UK problem, not yet anyhow!!! lol ;)

tyr this courtesy of noelyf,go back turn emu off,then exit to a channel,when it says bad or scrambled channel then press menu 1570 again,press set default key then turn emu back on,exit to a channel try bbc1 and see if it updates.

thanks god my problem is fixed if any body have an problem with the updating just do the emu key on and set as default key then exit and remember do this on bbc1 or up towards

hi moggser,
my friends setanta has gone in his *view box he has done a full rescan but still coming up with a message saying this station is scrambled. Any ideas he has checked every channel 2 or 3 times now and can find no trace of it.

just read your posting,,, I have found that since the update to * view 2 boxes all setanta channels have moved to channels bics 11 & upwards, A word of warning to,, I have found that if you click on bics 20 it wipes out the codes so you have to reset or reload the fix

when i updated my starview super box i lost sultana sports. however i found that if i deleted the channel then it was replaced with the fully working one!

my friend lives in NI snd is in the 54 01 band area. the box is a clone and the system information is bot ver 7 aug 2006

I have downloaded new firmware for s/view the box super.Plugged into t/v and done automatic scan,pressed1570 checked emu is onand clicked set default.It tuned into setanta1 o.k.but when Ichange channels it either freezes or says"channel has changed please wait for saving".I wait up comes no signal even on bbc1.Iam in london.Any help please

greetings guys lovin your work,,im in dublin ,i have a dbox,,,came home and all all my channels have gone skyward,,,,,im on n==tee===l,,my scan keeps sayin channels update,,so far it hasnt got beyond 0%,,,,,for some unknown reason im left with sky sports 3,,,,some kinda sick joke,,,,all help greatfully received

try it on different channels...discovery turbo or sly movie indie..should click in!!

goto S*y indie movies see if it updates, or go through different channels leave them for 10 - 20 seconds and see if they start to update, you should find one that works.

not to well up on dbox,try moving around a few stations as different ones have worked for different folks,sly indie done the job for me.
