thanks guys for the help but it just aint working tonight,,,ive managed to see that the data is been updated to bout 200%,then it just goes back to zero and so forth,,,ive swithched emu on and off and gone to the sly indian channel,,,,,think it might be hatchet time if anyone gets inspriation im all ears ,,,,,the version is api ver 400 _e boot ver 7.0

Can someone help please and answer my questiom, finally got round to flashing my box and had to use a usb which has been installed, took all the instructions from you guys on how to change the port com and went ahead to try com port 1,2,and 4 nothing happened on 3 it cam e up flash failed, what could have happened and what can i do to get my box up and running again, i have the box 2

You have just got to keep trying, it is obviously the Adaptor that is causing you problems, but delete the firmware you have on your PC and download another from Eamo's, and have a look at this >>>>>>>

Just check that you have the live feed plugged into the CABLE INPUT socket, no signal means just that okay, but if you can get the Menu up on screen the do a Factory Reset and a fresh Installation patsy.

I have done a factory rset and now I have started a scan so will let you know, if i could not get the menu up would that have meant I had no live feed in

No patsy it wouldn't mean that, you can get the menu up on screen without a live feed, but you will not pick up anything on the scan if there is no live feed, just make sure that it is in the correct place, cable input socket.

it sems to be going through the motions of scanning, bringing up the channels in ordr etc so hopfully that is a good sign

Yes that is a good sign, I have forgot patsy, what is your box, is it the SV 2 The Box, and have you put 4.55 on it?

yes it is starview box, the box 2, I spoke to you last wek and ou advised me to go into eamos library and download the box fix so thats th one i put on and i hav just had a look back there and it is vrsion 4.55

That is the scan done and i put the emu back on, it is all here thank goodness, thanks so much malci for taking the time to talk to me and talk me through all this, it really does send me into a state, you are all fab and thanks to everyone else who has helped....until the next time lol, oh is there any fixes yet for starview 1, if not as long as this one is done then i can just take the codes from here

Yes the fix for the Starview 1 is out and is in Eamo's FTA Library at the bottom of my post, fix for clone as well.
