How long has it been like that? have you checked the fuse in the plug, if that is alright then it looks like a JTag job.

Need to get back with that one to be honest, I have never bothered doing one, scOuser or Fergus are the one's you need, and it is a bit complicated, but you can buy the leads complete with instructions if you want to give it a go, it's got to be your call, have you eliminated the powerboard and other stuff.

hi, ive been trying to download the firmware now for the last hour and its still stuck on 0%, is anyone else having this problem or is it just me??

Hey loop im in the same boat. Have unzipped the bin file and have the new pvr loader from the new fix. Everytime I try to download though it stays on 0%...
Anyone have any ideas??

Hello all, Is the UK fixes only download for PC? I bought the sv a year ago,maybe more and like everyone else it's gone today. Are there codes I can type in? Tried ones I got off this site earlier but they were for NTL and I'm chorus. I have a Mac and they won't connect to box. Anytime I read a thread here it says type in this code, hey presto, nothing. Is there any code that I can type in that will work?

data been updated 0-270% and back to 0% have tried emu on-off factory reset still the same nthell dub any ideas

Can't discuss that subject on here, you would be better off trying a google search for what you want.

Well you definately have the latest fix fot Starview 2 The Box, have you tried pressing Set Default key and going to Sky 2, and seeing if it updates for you.

star box 2/load with 4.3 than 4.55 /fectory set/ than enu on/ than press default key and it works

The best one over there seems to be Sky 2, but as you say it is trial and error, you need a station with a strong signal, glad your sorted anyway.

hello. can anyone help i have a starview 1 clone i flashed it the new firmwear for the clone but i turned it back on and ive got green line on the fron of the box. ive try'd doing the bad flash guide but all i keep getting is flash update failed.

Yes there is and it is is Eamo's FTA library and it also contains the update for the clone Starview 1 as well.

Are you sure that you did in fact put the correct BIN file on the box (clone), but as it is now you can only persevere with the Bad Flash method, it will probably take in excess of 20 attempts to get it to kick in.

hey guys...just looking for some info...done all my supers no problems but im left with 3 genuine boxes...did the first one with cryptstar v1.5 and v4.03_051005 and thenwhen i go to update it starts to but then sticks at 150% or 200%...tried it on all the sly channels but no joy...any ideas greatly received!
live a little...you cant be old and wise if youre never young and crazy!

You should not have used the 4.03 to load the Core400.bin on to the Starview 1 you should have used the 4.00 loader, but I don't think it matters now, if you are sure that it flashed okay. So you will have to persevere and keep trying to find a channel that suits it, to update for you, cinemagic, disney, dicovery, but I have to say that the majority seem to have foun Sky 2 the best for them vic.

i have a gtrom_v4.0is it worth doing it again with that one?
