hey guys! i asked this a long time ago, and with the game being months old now, im not sure if people might have changed their minds...
but, does anyone have a disc copy of TESIV: Shivering Isles, OR the addon disc that comes with Game of the year, that they would be kind enough to let a fellow borrow? (me) :)
i dont have internet access for my PS3, so i cant swap PSN accounts or whatever, but i would totally appreciate it if anyone could help a youngster out!
i can PM you my address, then copy it to my HDD, then i can send it back to you ASAP. (im not gonna steal it. why would i want an expansion disc to keep?)
You cant simply install it to the hdd and give it back. It changes the game data as well as the game saves. After installing it, it makes you use the shivering isles disk to play the game.
ive heard of plenty of people borrowing their friends standalone disc, and just writing it to the drive, then using the standard oblivion disc to play... (same thing with GotY.)
but im not really sure about GotY running on the standalone version of the Standard Disc, but i do know that for Xbox 360 it comes with 2 discs....
