I have some Metal Gear sound clips I want to use.

I do know that I can download sounds already made like the Vista ones on my Slim.

System_plugin.rco holds the XMB sounds and htmlviewer.res/snd (depends on the firmware version) holds the internet browser sounds. You have to convert your sounds to mono VAGs with MFAudio, run Auris v0.4, browse the VAGs and create the whole custom system sound package with few clicks.

And if you don't want to make a new package, you can use premade sound packages. You can find some http://forums.maxconsole.net/showpost.ph...unt=1"here or Google it for the rest.

If you do your own package, don't forget to share with the people here...

Thanks for the help isaacbomb.

I'll post my findings.

*Update*
Auris v0.4
In order to use Auris v0.4 the readme says that I need a fully decrypted system_plugin.rco from FW2.50, htmlviewer.res from FW3.10-3.30 and htmlviewer.res from FW3.40. I didn't know were to get these until I read about RSPsar Dumper v 3.30.

RSPsar Dumper v3.30
RSPsar Dumper dumps and decrypts firmware from official update eboots. I downloaded the 2.50, 3.30 and 3.40 updates and ran RSPsar Dumper. That got me the files for Auris to work.

MFAudio v1.1
MFAudio converts your audio files into VAG files which the PSP uses.

My problems.
It took me awhile to figure out how to get the decrypted files for Auris and the resulting system_plugin.rco bricks my 3.90 M33-3 Slim. Not a full brick but a brick. So I just replaced the new system_plugin.rco with my backup and everything is fine.I don't know what when wrong. I tried it over and over and it just wouldn't work for me.

My solution.
I got frustrated and decided to take a look at my system_plugin.rco backup file using RCO Edit v1.1.0.5. I found eight VAG files at the bottom of the General Resource tab. I seen them before but I didn't know what they were for. So I highlighted the first one and clicked Replace, searched for my the replacement VAG and clicked ok. Then I flashed the new system_plugin.rco, rested the PSP and it worked.

I didn't need Auris. All I needed was MFAudio to convert my .wav files to VAG and RCO Edit (which I already had) to replace the default ones. Simple.

Thanks again isaacbomb, for pointing me into the right direction.
