For the mods I like FF and RPGs not to thrilled with the new FF games, would like to continue the non inane and dim conversation some of us where having, feel free to nuke it if she gets hot :P

XII does not expand on the graphics one bit. all the faces are basically the same. scan grain is what i hear it's called.... that was stupid. X had better facial features. and that's only one aspect of it... i'll go so far as to say that X was decent, but XII is slightly less decent as X. but that's JUST MY OPINION. i think what turned me off from XII was the summoning. the usual crew wasnt there. i couldnt eventually learn to summon Bahamut, the dragon king. i had to watch him as an airship. i think that is the main reason why i didnt like XII as much as i could have. which is why we are still gonna wait on the FF VI and VII remakes =^D
I dunno I can see the good graphics in FF12 it expands on the depth of the level design and even detailing of environment and creatures but beyond that the gameplay is so bland and boreing I can't bare to play it 0-o.

For me the equipment with the god awful skil system is what killed me on it, at least FFX knew to hold back the everyone can get everything thing until they finished their class altho they could have tried harder to give each class their own version of a spell and onto the same spell itself.

This, on top of character development, is crucial. X did a great job developing characters, but each character was a clone of each other with respect to skills, only difference being their initial stats and limit breaks. XII failed terribly, no individuality and the development aspect was slow as hell.

Ummm yes you could build a cross skill player in 5,least I recall abusing like it was...hehehehehe

But ya 12 is bland through and though, I will give it props for level design but they forgot the run button 6 had, not to mention the great equipment of anything predating 7, 10 while generic at least force character to a class a good way through the game FF12 is bi polar with the skills, I'd be happy if I could run 1 fcking class without contaminating it with another, hell it should be more like FFT you want an out of class skill pay more for it not force you to get it cheap on the way to filling out a character....blarg....

Oh and the limit breaks on characters in FF12 are sad, they are all the same with different animations.... I swear I would kill the world to have Balimaer(SP) use Edgers tools or rifle/powder/airship equipment skills...its like square forgot how to make a FF game.

intresting, I picked up Shadow Hearts 1-3 for under 60$ a few weks back..I don;t have my PS2 together ATM have you played them or did they fall into the JRPG pit?

Uhg I need to fire up my PS2 and code breaker and finish off some of these games I got LOL
