God of War: COO Lag

Hey,

I've been playing GoW: COO on my PSP fat recently, but as I play- whenever I encounter a new area or whatever, the game lags really badly for a while- then plays smoothly until more enemies come or something big happens.

I don't lag in cutscenes or menus, only in-game.
Some info:

PSP FAT CFW 3.71M33-?
.cso game file
4GB Memory stick

Please help me, thanks.

Try uncompressing the game to a normal iso format, that should stop the lag.

Try to change your cpu speed to 333

Go to recovery menu and go to cpu speed "To go to recovery menu press R while turning on the psp"

Change ISO/UMD speed to 333

Want ISO's Rip them from the UMD.

I'll try changing the CPU speed tomorrow, in the meantime I have to wait for my PSP to recharge... damn you, final fantasy seven!

Also, just as a note, FF7 works without a hitch so far- but I've not gotten far into it yet.
