hi i have an ntsc 360.
i recently dloaded a game that was stated ntsc.. and ppl seemed to have corroborated that it actually is and works fine.. i burned it using clone cd..but when i popped it into my xbox it says tat the discs region code is incorrect for this console..

im stumped..
anyone wit any suggestions?

:( thats 7+ GB of download wasted... it took me sooo long too.. :(

btw.. how do i check the region code of my 360? i know for sure it isnt pal.. but im not too sure which ntsc it is..

if you live in the US it is ntsc-u which i am assuming you do. There are two types of ntsc, ntsc-u and ntsc-j which ntsc- j is for japan consoles.

download xdvd-mulleter, and it will tell you what region that game is, and if its properly patched.

I have a very good link somewhere, It tells you every rls and region code and whether it got nuked or not. it's just a list. i'll post it once I get on my home PC.

ok something weird.. i checked out the iso using dvdmulleter and it says thats it for the US..

now im starting to wonder what console i have.. iv always played ntsc games.. they've worked fine..

thing is that my brother bought me my 360 and it came premodded.. i have no clue how it was modded.. hence all the confusion now..

i was told its a US console.. thats all the info i got..
any guesses?

you can probably see what region the console is somewhere on the last tab of the main menu thing. also you might be able to search the SN and manufacturing date and determine what region it is.
