I just installed a D2Pro9 pre-soldered to a Wii-Clip and I wasn't sure if it was the chip or the backups that were the problem. When I turn on the Wii, the chip blinks blue and red and when a disc is inserted the same thing happens, but none of the light stay on. Originals load fine, but when a backup is inserted (TDK) the drive spins then clicks, and repeats this many times until the Wii comes up with a black screen telling me there is an error.
Any reason why this is happening?

I was using TDK +R and changed to using Fujifilm -R. I didn't touch anything else and everything started working.

O thanks :D i will try that. I may just have crap copy of Mario kart though.
The wii recognizes Mario kart, but when i start the game the screen goes black and stays that way, i can only get out of it if i restart the wii.
