Maybe some of you know that i didn't have luck with action replay max (ver. 3.60) and ps 1 disc (as ar:max didn't have media player) iv tried everything -cleaned lens, added more weight to disc, clean the disc, bought new discs....
This summer im going to Ireland .And i need to know what i can buy to mod and play backup games on my ps2(v.9)I'm not thinking that i might find a modchip and im not a good solder!So im looking for some kind of discs like ar max,gameshark (if ill be lucky, maybe swap magic) but i need to know what versions of the discs work for modding my ps2!

Ps. Maybe its not independence exploit but i know that there was an exploit that worked without ps1 disc but it couldnt be done it without media player.
Yes you could try exploit using Ar Max with Media Player, or find a codebreaker 10.
Also there is the new mcloader to install an exploit right to your mc but you would still need a way to load it from usb drive.
If you have a friend who can load files from usb drive, they could install this to your mc for you, then you would be able to use cogswap, cdloader, hdloader, swap magic elf etc.
