i am a fellow hacker amongst the realm of psp hacking, though i like to undermine some of the other more notorious hackers known to the psphomebrew scene with some modifications of the psp of my own. I would like to give back to the psp community somehow, and a friend of mine gave me this idea. this is a completely crazy idea, however, some of you homebrew desperate psp owner's out there, itching to get a custom firmware, super-loaded psp, might find this interesting. Here is my plan:
along with this post, i will post ways to downgrade from official sony psp firmwares through the pandora's battery method. this mathod does work, however, if you do not follow the readme just perfectly you may end up losing a battery to use for gaming. This method also applies to all owners of preferably a computer running windows XP, as Vista encounters problems when writing the magic memory stick needed.
The following post is also just for psp phat (original) owners.
To initiate a custom firmware mod on a psp slim is not impossible, but it is necessary to have a psp phat (original) battery and with that it must be turned into a pandora (jigkick) battery.
Please follow the readmes word for word, if you do not understand a part of them or have any other psp custom firmware questions, feel free to post them here. Another option is the non-prefered method, but if you are that desperate and do not own a windows XP computer or do not completely understand any of this at all and still want the perks of custom firmware, you can then send me your psp by mail, my service is free, i will not charge, i will never charge, and if you wish to go through with this then email me at notallowed@here.com
the next service i offer is a more general service which can be answered simply through email. I offer a gamesave service. This may sound complicated, or like striking gold in a silver mine, however i only have a few games right now as my hard drive was erased recently and my isos deleted. I must own the game if you want your gamesave to be hacked! (exceptions being if you sent the UMD with the PSP in the service mentioned above, removed this service is free. if you wish to have your game save hacked and suped-up, please send your entire gamesave folder to me by email at again notallowed@here.com and i will return send it when it is completed.
Hate to rain on your parade, but three things are wrong with this post.
Problem the first: Your email address in the post is not allowed as per the forum rules which you agreed to.
Second: You are promoting piracy. I know that under Rule 5, you are allowed to discuss pirated content, but still, we want to keep people out of it. The scene has been hurt enough as it stands.
Third: Several threads with personal advertising of lesser magnitude than this have been closed before. If people want a Pandora service, they go to a more technical site.
alright, i am sorry to have posted then, looks like i need to read the terms of agreement more carefully next time, agreed, the psp scene is very controversial, best left unsaid.
