PSP mem stick reader not working please help me

hey i unbricked my psp a little while back and then my (fake)memstick broke. well i had to wait about a month until i could buy a new one but when i put a new one in (a real one) it would just stut my psp off but if i take it out it works fine dont kno wat to do please help i have 3.71 m33 cfw

well please speak in english!!

do you have a card read for your computer?? try putting the card in there and formating it,,, right click on drive >format....then try again....check and see if the port is damaged in anyway:(

hey yeah i do and the mem stick works fine but the psp i think is the problem and sorry i was trying to be as short as possible but do you have any ideas

well you can try a firmware update to the 3.71m33-4 sometimes people have issues with the usb/memstick with cfw......3.71m33-4 is a bullet proof cfw!

now when you put the memstick in does it even pick it up in the psp, does it give an error?


is the spring working (that click sound)?

go into recovery mode and make sure all the toggle usb modes and flash 0 are disabled, this would cause an issue!

please re explain that last thing i think that is the problem cause i kno my memstick reader is spring is broke but it can still read the memstick and when is sees its ther is shuts off....but please explain further about the flash 0 part

hey sorry for bothering you so much but i tried to re flash my psp and i made my mms and pandora batt but that dosent work either....i tried the thing you were talkin bout earlier also and that still dosent work

i cant do any updating, flashing, or running recovery files because my memstick is shutting off my psp when i put it in. but if i dont have any memstick in there if works fine.its like my psp hates all mem cards.sorry for double posting too. thank you for all your help
